In this video, we discuss the recent reconstitution of NITI Aayog and an important concern for India’s agricultural future.
Agriculture remains the backbone of India, and policies affecting farmers should not be shaped only by bureaucrats and officials based in Delhi. It is essential that farmer leaders, experienced agriculturists, and people directly involved in farming are given representation in national policy-making bodies.
Without practical ground-level experience, agricultural policy risks becoming disconnected from the realities faced by farmers every day.
This video highlights why genuine farmer representation is necessary in institutions like NITI Aayog and why India’s farming community deserves a stronger voice at the highest levels of decision-making.
